ANNOUNCING OUR 2025 Spring Gala
Honorary chair: Patricia Garcia
Join us on Saturday, April 26 at the Ann Arbor City Club for our annual Symphony gala! This year, our glitzy gala theme pays tribute to the iconic and eternally trend-setting lavishness of Truman Capote’s Black & White Ball — infused with a little Ann Arbor flair!
Hosted at New York City’s Plaza Hotel in 1966, the original Black & White Ball was hosted in honor of Capote’s good friend and Washington Post editor Katherine Graham, and guests were encouraged to attend dressed in masks to add a touch of secretive whimsy to the opulent affair. This year’s A2SO Black & White Ball will raise money for the orchestra’s Learning & Community programs as we scale our offerings across Southeast Michigan. As our unique Ann Arbor twist, we’ll celebrate Patricia Garcia (Publisher, Ann Arbor Observer) as our honorary chair.
Tickets are now LIVE! Click below to purchase tickets online, or call (734-994-4801) to purchase tickets over the phone.
