A2SO @ School
Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra’s Learning & Community Chamber Ensembles bring the orchestra off the stage and into your school for a close-up musical experience where children are active listeners. These 30-minute performances are designed to introduce classical music and the instruments of the orchestra to K-5 students in an assembly-type setting. Adjustments can be made if you would like us to bring one of our L&C ensembles in for an older age group.
Our Learning & Community Chamber Ensembles are trained to give exciting, engaging and interactive educational concerts that feature diverse repertoire across a wide range of genres including classical, film and pop music. Our A2SO@School visits feature performances by our String Quartet, Reed Trio, and Brass Quintet, and these ensembles can be requested specifically according to your needs.

We love having the A2SO at our school. The musicians bring the magic of the music hall with them, even in our small school space. We are very grateful for the continued availability of these events, and hope they continue to be available for many years to come!
Whitmore Lake Public SchoolsThese events are absolute favorites for everyone and we love them! The musician Q&A was great too. My kindergartener has been asking to take violin lessons since the concert and is super excited to start next week!
