Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra’s Learning & Community Chamber Ensembles bring the orchestra off the stage and into your school for a close-up musical experience where children are active listeners. These 30-minute performances are designed to introduce classical music and the instruments of the orchestra to K-5 students in an assembly-type setting. Adjustments can be made if you would like us to bring one of our L&C ensembles in for an older age group.

Our Learning & Community Chamber Ensembles are trained to give exciting, engaging and interactive educational concerts that feature diverse repertoire across a wide range of genres including classical, film and pop music. During our 22-23 season, we were able to offer visits from our String Quartet and our Brass Quintet and we are excited to be adding our Reed Trio to the mix for our 23-24 season!
