Legacy Funds offer donors two meaningful ways to invest in the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra’s artistic excellence for future generations.

The Podium Promise Fund, the orchestra’s endowment, provides long-term financial stability and ensures the A2SO can thrive through changing economic conditions. Endowment support enables the orchestra to grow sustainably, attract exceptional musicians and guest artists, present inspiring performances, and deliver outstanding concert experiences for audiences.

The Centennial Commissioning Club invites donors to play a direct role in creating new music that will premiere during the A2SO’s centennial celebration in 2028. Members help bring original works to life, leaving a lasting artistic legacy for the orchestra and the community.

Together, these Legacy Funds provide donors with impactful opportunities to shape the future of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and ensure its artistic vitality for years to come.

The Podium Promise Fund is the endowment of the A2SO. Gifts made to the Podium Promise Endowment are made in perpetuity and will continue to ensure artistic excellence of the Orchestra for generations to come.

The Centennial Commissioning Club (CCC) is a special group of supporters who are committed to artistic innovation and musical excellence. Over a five year commitment, your contribution will directly fund the commissioning of exciting new compositions, crafted specifically to celebrate our Centennial seasons. These works will premiere in our concert halls and reach audiences throughout Southeast Michigan and beyond, solidifying a legacy that both honors the past and embraces a vibrant artistic future. Your support will allow us to champion talented composers, give voice to their unique artistic perspectives, and keep classical music relevant and resonant.
