GIVING TUESDAY 2025

For nearly 100 years, the A2SO has been a cornerstone of Ann Arbor and the wider Southeast Michigan community. Each year, more than 70,000 listeners of all ages are inspired by our programs both on and off the stage. From our beloved Symphony friends and family we see every concert at Hill Auditorium to our newest littlest listeners we meet at our KinderConcerts, we cherish every note we play for you.

From all of us at the Symphony, we want you to know how much it means to us to be your orchestra.

Since last year’s Giving Tuesday, we know a lot has changed. With recent cuts to both federal and state arts funding, your generosity today ensures that we can continue to share these transformative experiences and keep the music playing for everyone in our community.

Thanks to some generous donors, any and all gifts made to our Giving Tuesday campaign between 12:01 AM and 11:59 PM today, December 2, 2025, will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.

Pioneer High School Choirs

The Ann Arbor Pioneer High School A Cappella Choir is one of four curricular and nine extra-curricular choral ensembles at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, the 2006 & 2011 National GRAMMY® Signature School. The A Cappella Choir has performed at the American Choral Directors Association Central Division Convention (2014), American Choral Directors Association Michigan State Convention (2014 & 2018), Michigan Music Conference (2013 & 2018), and Michigan Youth Arts Festival (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2017). In 2014 & 2015, they were selected as an Outstanding Choir and featured at the Gala Concert of the Michigan Youth Arts Festival. The Pioneer Choirs have collaborated with the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings.
