Friday, July 14, 2023 (Ann Arbor, MI) — It was with great sadness that the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra learned of the passing of pianist André Watts, a towering figure in the orchestra world and a member of the American Classical Music Hall of Fame.
André joined the A2SO in September of 2014 to perform Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto at Hill Auditorium, an unforgettable moment for those in attendance that evening.
